Friday: A co-worker encouraging me to get a quote on my brakes, and then paying for them to get replaced. All $225 of it!
Saturday: My ex taking the kids overnight, for the second week in a row.
Monday: A very sunny day with no snow. Though it’s still very cold, it is bright and beautiful and we were totally spared from the bad snowstorm that has affected a large part of the country.
Tuesday: A friend (and now co-worker, too) treating me to lunch, when I expected them not to even take lunch with me at all because I was unfriendly to them all morning.
Wednesday: A co-worker giving us from the church that he pastors 3 boxes of food, including meat, and even letting us pick it all out. And then also giving us a bit of cash to get some chocolate to go on the ice cream they gave us. It bought us milk that we were out of, too.
I am so blessed. It’s, quite literally, more than I can comprehend.
