Well, whaddya wanna know?
A basic run-down of me goes like this- I’m a 30-something mother of 3 in the midwest. I believe in God with my whole being and consider myself a Christian, but reject a whole lot of what goes on in popular Christianity today. For example, I cuss. I realize ‘cuss’ words are not generally the most ‘uplifting’ choice of words, but frankly- the church-at-large’s overreaction to the whole issue makes it easier to dismiss the nay-sayers than it does to realize any supposed harm done by ’spice’ words. (Note- I will keep them to a minimum out of consideration for others and not causing anyone who is easily offended to stumble. But you should be prepared for some.) Not only that, I believe God actually wants us to follow his “Old Testament” laws!
I am still a fairly new Messianic, and still feel so very ignorant. (”The more I learn, the more I realize how much more I have left to learn!”) I have found a lot of info out there that is helpful, but unfortunately so very much of it is over my head. Here at this blog-site I will be processing my thoughts and things I hear and learn, so I can keep track of it all and not forget! I hope that it will also be a place that others can come and learn along with me, and also that I will be able to present it in a more digestible format so that when I am further along in my knowledge, that the others who come along then will still be able to understand and be helped.
